Meet The Team

Meet the team! With many employees holding their Orion badge for over 10 years we are proud of the team we have built in Boise, Idaho. When we aren't working hard in the office we will surely all be enjoying a cold beverage together on a Friday afternoon.

Administrative

Greg Chavez

Greg Chavez

Greg enjoys working with the great team of people here at OIG and credits the job with giving him the gift of patience! Hailing from Caldwell, ID, Greg is inspired by the selfless acts of others and would choose Albert Einstein if he could meet anyone, living or dead. A big fan of flying, airplanes, mountain biking, and other outdoor activities, Greg naturally chooses a week of space travel over a week spent in a submarine.

If he could know anything without having to study it, Greg would like to become a whizz at quantum physics and would prefer to be a mind reader over a fortune teller, given the choice. When Greg isn’t working you will find him spending time with his family, as well as flying, biking, or hiking. If he won the lottery, it will come as no great surprise that Greg would buy his dream plane and travel - as well as figuring out ways to give most of his windfall away over the course of time.

Camille Cooper

Camille Cooper

Hailing from Rupert, ID, Camille enjoys the family atmosphere at OIG but admits it has made her realize that small business is not for the weak - which is why it’s a good job that she is inspired by people who don’t let adversity hold them back! If Camille could know something without having to study it, it would be how to speak French - and she wouldn’t mind being a world class photographer either.

Passionate about her family, Camille is definitely kept busy with her three very active children, which is why, we guess, if she could teleport to another location for 24 hours she’d go to a private island and take a nap in the sun! (We have to remind her not to forget to wear sunscreen - something Camille would change if she could travel back in time…) Camille’s favorite place to eat is Kahootz in Meridian, however given the choice between having a personal chef or a personal trainer, she’d choose the personal chef and enjoy having dinner on the table when she gets home for a change. Finally, if Camille won the lottery, she tells us she’d spend every last dime!

Kelli Frank

Kelli Frank

Office Systems Coordinator Kelli credits Orion with helping her become even more organized - a trait which she carries through into her home life too. She loves working with the team at Orion, and especially enjoyed playing an integral part in helping to modernize both the OIG office and company culture.

If Kelli could meet anyone, living or dead, it would be The Pioneer Woman, Ree Drummond - she’d love to gain some of Ree’s wisdom by absorbing her tips for cooking, photography and life. A big fan of the TV show Friends (“it never gets old!”), Kelli also enjoys traveling, hiking, baking, making cards, volunteering with Rotary, and hanging out at Big City Coffee here in Boise. If she won the lottery, Kelli has ambitions to buy a second home in Kauai, and open a bakery called “Beach Buns”. She promises she’d split her time between there and Idaho, though, so don’t worry - we wouldn’t lose her completely!

Sales

Erik Bohn

Erik Bohn

Erik enjoys working with the team at Orion because of the dedication of everyone wanting to make sure the customers are taking care of. Erik has spent most of his 20 some years of his career in the security field, from armored logistics, corporate support, national account management to system designs, it truly is something he is passionate about.

Growing up in a large active family, Erik enjoys everything outdoor, specially mule deer hunting, mountain biking and family camping at their property. He is dedicated to his family and looks forward to walking into the organized disarray that comes from a house full of kids when he gets home. Spanish is what Erik would choose to know without studying as his wife if from Honduras, well Spanish and home brewing.

Corey Penny

Corey Penny

Service Coordinator Corey enjoys working for Orion for the opportunities for personal growth - as well as the fantastic team atmosphere. In his role, Corey coordinates and communicates both with our engineers and distributors, and our customers. After graduating from Boise State with an Associates of Applied Science Degree and from Ashford University with a BA in Organizational Management, Corey gained valuable experience working in customer service and consumer tech sales.

Outside of work, it’s highly likely you’ll find Corey doing some kind of sporting activity. A big fan of outdoor sports which let him enjoy the weather when it’s at its finest, Corey is a keen player of outdoor volleyball, soccer, basketball, golf and tennis, among others. He also enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter - the highlight of his day is seeing them when he gets home from work, and he enjoys taking family vacations to new destinations.

Sofia Bernards

Sofia Bernards

Sofia hails from Portland Oregon, but has dual citizenship in both America and Sweden(and speaks fluent Swedish). A recent graduate of Boise State University, Sofia now calls Boise her home. She is energized working with the team at Orion and is hands on for all things marketing and business related.

When she's not working, Sofia takes in everything that Idaho has to offer - hiking, camping, wine tasting, fishing, Saturday markets, rodeos, county fairs, and more. There isn't a restaurant in Boise she's been to and hasn't loved.

Dwight Anderson

Dwight Anderson

As a lifetime Boise resident, Dwight has witnessed the area grow from small, individual towns to the current urban sprawl and with the exception of the traffic, he likes the opportunities the advancement brings to Orion. Dwight is a Microsoft Certified Network Engineers and gets energized by the challenge of installing new server systems, as well as improving an existing system. Dwight doesn’t know the concept of working eight to five because you can find him researching the latest products, viewing a Microsoft webcast or helping a client seven days a week at almost any hour.

Most of Dwight’s spare time is spent coaching his sons play lacrosse or driving them to tournaments anywhere west of the Rockies. Though he was an avid football player/fan growing up, he’s sold on lacrosse. He shares his love of Fiat cars with his oldest son and they will head east in the near future to pick up a classic Spider so they can restore it. His wife is eternally grateful that he does all the cooking (and so are his three sons) and his well known for his bar-b-que skills.

Matt Makiya

Matt Makiya

Matt is a native of Nashua, NH and a big ice hockey fan and supporter of the Boston Bruins. He is also an aviation enthusiast who loves some good hearty Italian food. When he’s not busy at work you may find Matt visiting his favorite city, Seattle.

John Palomarez

John Palomarez

Help desk technician John has six years of experience in the IT industry and specializes in user issues relating to Microsoft Office versions 2007, 2010 and 2013, and Windows 7. He studied in the CNS program at the ITT Technical Institute, graduating with an AA before going on to gain valuable helpdesk experience for HP/EDS and Taos.

When he’s not helping OIG clients with their technical issues, Oxnard, CA native John can be found bow hunting, fishing, and playing softball. He also devotes much time and effort striving to be a force for good by raising funding to enable missionaries to go to China, among other countries.

Infrastructure Services

Frank Agresta

Frank Agresta

Frank is an experienced manager with a wide range of expertise in different technologies. At OIG, he is responsible for managing both the team and the jobs that are allocated to them. He specializes in running data cabling, security cabling, surveillance and card access, and holds a number of certifications. Areas of certification include Panduit, 16 Hours of Grounding vs. Bonding, Hubbell, Ortronics, winDSX Access Systems, BICSI, Siemon Cabling, and Amp Light Crimp Plus.

Before joining Orion, Frank was Lead Technician at Netversant for 10 years, and at Adobe for six years. He has a total of 21 years of industry-related experience.

Paul Vines

Paul Vines

Hailing from Oxford, sports fanatic Paul thinks the best thing about working at OIG is his co-workers. During his time with the company he has learned how to deliver truly great customer service and a high quality of work. Paul describes himself as dedicated and, although he particularly enjoyed working on the Ada County Courthouse project, he harbors ambitions to fly a fighter jet and be a rugby world champion!

If Paul could time travel, he’d go back and explore the Jurassic period, but he’d also love to meet Winston Churchill. When he’s not at work you can find Paul catching up on old episodes of his favorite TV show, classic British comedy Only Fools and Horses, playing rugby and football, and working on his home. Assuming he could teleport to anywhere, he’d go to Hong Kong to visit old friends and, given the option of space or submarine travel, he’d choose space. OIG clients who work with Paul had better keep their fingers crossed that he doesn’t win the lottery - if he does, he plans to retire!

Terry Morgan

Terry Morgan

A native of North Bend, Oregon, Terry credits working at OIG with having taught him a whole new trade. He can’t pick a favorite project that he’s worked on so far, as he’s enjoyed all of them - which we’re happy to hear. Family man Terry is inspired by his wife and says that if he could travel back in time he’d probably change his ways! That said, if he could teleport to anywhere, he’d love to take a tour of Europe - perhaps behind the wheel of a race car, as Terry has always quite fancied being a world class racing driver. Though his favorite TV show of all time is The Black List, if Terry could meet anyone it would be John Wayne.

Self-described fabulicious Terry would choose electronics if he could know everything about a subject without having to study it. Perhaps he should use some of his free time for study, though, as he lists his hobby as puttering! Foodie Terry would like his own personal chef, although you will often find him enjoying something from the menu at Texas Roadhouse. Good news for anyone who works with Terry: if he won the lottery he’d make sure his family were taken care of and (possibly!) continue to work at OIG.

We encourage all our customers to come in an meet the team! This group continues to grow and we hope to add many more great people to our team in the coming year as Orion continues to succeed.
